In 2014 a new sewage collection system and a state-of-the-art wastewater treatment plant was installed by Veolia and started operation in Fegyvernek implementing UTB's CYCLATOR^™ technology. This unique wastewater treatment plant applies combined mechanical pretreatment, a three-line biological treatment stage and a sludge dewatering line.

In 2016 the neighbouring municipality's connected to the plant and due to increase in hydraulic and biological loads the operator decided to add another CYCLATOR^™ basin, which was really easy to fit hydraulically into the existing wastewater line thanks to its arrangement. After the extension the plant has a daily capacity of 630 m³ raw wastewater including 15 m³ septic waste per day (7627 PE).
